Belly Hunch ("we," "our," or "the app") is a birth prediction pool app used to make and score friendly guesses about an upcoming baby's arrival. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Information we collect

  • Your email address, used for sign-in and to notify you when pool results are ready
  • Your name, if you provide one when joining a pool
  • The guesses you submit (birth date, weight, length, gender, name, and any custom pool questions)
  • If you sign in with Google, basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) provided by Google

How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate Belly Hunch: creating your account, letting you join and participate in pools, scoring guesses against real birth results, and showing leaderboards to other participants in the same pool.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who can see your guesses

Pool creators control when guesses become visible to other participants (either once the pool locks, or once results are entered). Depending on the pool's settings, other participants in the same pool may be able to see your guesses and display name.

Data storage

Your information is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can request that your account and associated data be deleted at any time by reaching out to whoever invited you to your pool, or to the person who manages the Belly Hunch app you're using.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Belly Hunch grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
